I have melded the American tradition of fine handwork with the European tradition of using silk to create refined quilts with distinctive character.

A silk quilt hung on the wall is luxurious.  The deep color saturation, light reflecting property and weave variation in silk give the quilts a luminous quality.  Where cotton and wool quilts absorb light and look flat at night, silk quilts nearly glow.

I design and execute each quilt entirely, including the dense and expert hand quilting.  Large custom quilts are a specialty.  I work closely with each client to insure their quilt truly reflects their design aesthetic and complements their home.
